Whither Australia?

Monday 22 February, 2010 - 21:01 by OB1 in Default

China put us all on notice during the hot air talkfest in Copenhagen. China is the new kid on the block and it won't take any nonsense; not from the US, not from Japan, or Europe, certainly not Australia or the bleeding heart greenies.

The myth of global warming is a fraud, the world's glaciers are not going to melt within 20 years. At least China was not buying that nonsense and its action in destroying the self serving talk-fest proved it.

G.K. Chesterton wrote that when men stop believing in God, it is not they believe in nothing, but rather they will believe anything. Enter Al Bore and his loony soothsayers peddling nonsense about rising sea levels, melting ice caps and more droughts (what a contradiction - warmer global weather generates greater evaporation thus increasing rainfall)

Look at the soothsayers wandering the world spouting doom and gloom. They are no better than the corrupt Pardoners of Chaucer's time, or today's African witchdoctors. They shake their bag of bones and scatter them on the ground predicting famine, drought, and climate change. And the politicans and the gullible believe all these gobblygook fabrications; after all 'the science is in'.

Where does this leave Australia?

Australia is in an ideal position to develop its nuclear energy capacity; construct new generation reactors and develop a range of export technologies for peaceful purposes.

What will Australia do to achieve this huge and job creating resource?

Nothing! Zip! Sweet bugger all. Why ? There is no political vision or will left in this country. We allow sheep, donkeys and monkeys to run this country.

Batt-man and Boy Blunder

Hello bloggers and readers...I'm back. Bet you all thought I was dead? For over 6 months I couldn't access my blog site. And today, I'm back in print. I know there was something missing in your lives; my take on politiks.

Look below at my comments about the wasting of squillions of dollars over the stimulus package. And now look at the trouble over the insulation batts. What a stuff-up - a real SNAFU.

And Kim Bonk Ill is still alive in norf Korea; because his robotic comrades wind him up each day and let him waddle about and fire off a few rockets. (See below). And Maugabe is still alive in Zim-babble. Comrade Leader Mugabe is turning 86 years old in a few days. No-one in the West or Africa has removed him; but the Chinese and Kim Bugger Ill keep him in power, while his new colonial masters of Africa pillage the natural resources faster than the Poms, Belgians or Germans ever did.

And Obama, is he the rising or the setting sun? Sounds like he's eclipsed.

Isn't it great to be in Australia? The joint is stuffed; no trains, no trams, no dams, no one allowed to say there is a God, no border protection and no common sense.

Mooning about in space

Monday 20 July, 2009 - 22:34 by OB1 in Default

It is 40 years since the first man stepped onto the Moon. What an achievement! What an amazing vision J.F.K. had in 1961, when he espoused that radical idea of placing a man on the Moon and returning him to earth. The US possessed the will and it achieved that vision. Today greed and fools rule the world.

Forty years later it is impossible to return and land on the Moon. Western society, today, lacks a vision and a will to reach for the stars. Ah well! At least I lived to see that impossible 1969 dream fulfilled.

Michael Jackson

Michael Jackson: Why the West is Lost - he is a reflection of a decaying society

At the end of World War 11 in August 1945, the United States stood proud. It was a highly evolved industrial complex that fought and won a war on two fronts against two different foes. During the war the USA supplied, fuels, materiels, arms, aeroplanes, locomotives,  trucks, food, munitions to its allies in places as far afield as India, Burma, Australia, England, Soviet Union, China and France. Its air force, navy and army were unmatched in size and firepower. By the mid-1950s something was underway, in the USA.  Faint signs of decay in that national sense of self-worth, of family, the work ethic, and morality emerged. By the 'flower power' era of the mid-1960s the signs of decay were evident; drugs, hippies, dissent, the Vietnam War engagement and national self-loathing appeared for all the world to see and was reflecting in London, Paris and Canberra. When Michael Jackson died, the USA's decay was self evident.

Observing from Down Under, Jackson was the USA's public face of its own hedonist picture. Jackson was a Dorian Gray (Oscar Wilde, The Picture of Dorian Gray (1891)). Jackson's mutilated body reflected his society and a systemic corruption, which eats away at the heart and soul of the once great Republic and land of the free. The ongoing freak shows on the streets of California and in Australia of hysterical gothico-zombie 'fans', of the parade of botoxed celebrity freaks picking over the mutilated corpse of the bereaved, is so ghoulish that those who believed in the USA, now despair not just for that nation but also for the future of Western civilization. What of the so called children? Are they Jackson’s' or draculaesque innocents created from a number of invisible 'donors' and surrogates? What about their inalienable rights to know mother and father? Oh no; the US Supreme Court over-ruled such Christian stuff with its own mish-mash of selfish and imagined neo-rights to abortion, abolition of prayers and removal of God etc.

The US Supreme Court that bastion of unelected, unrepresentative social engineers usurped the democratic processes, the founding fathers fought for and won for the people. What would Washington, Franklin, Jefferson, and Lincoln, make of the side show alley loonies that now is American culture?

Like ancient Rome, the West is engaged in a struggle for survival; its legions are fighting at the edge of empire, not against the Gauls or Goths, but in Afghanistan and Iraq (until July 09). At the Western Empire's centres in Washington, Paris, London, Berlin, Rome and Canberra, citizens are consumed by the same diseases which afflicted ancient Rome, diseases such as; greed, hedonism, 'me too', 'me first', 'me me', drugs, alcohol, and an Australian viral mutation, the 'bugger you, Jack, I'm ok' syndrome. As the West wallows before its golden calves, its so-called leaders like lunatic Emperors Caligula and Nero,  provide endless bread and games to divert their minds from their own inadequacies and some Presidents and Prime Ministers, like Emperor Elagabalus (218-222 AD) try to make us in the West what we are not. Some Western Leaders and law-making Judges would persecute the Christians as did Diocletian (284-305 AD)

We live in interesting times and Michael Jackson, the modern Dorian Gray, was but a painted mirror - a self-reflection of our decaying Western society.

Kim Jong Ill now not ill

Friday 29 May, 2009 - 22:54 by OB1 in Default

Dear Leader, Sun of Heaven and Erf, Naval Gazer and Great Helmsman Kim Jong Ill is reported to be feeling much better since he fired a few rockets into the air. Having recently read W. Manchester's, The Arms of Krupp, (Ch. 9) and discovering that Fritz Krupp fired off rockets every time he had an orgasm, Kim decided to emulate the custom; thus proving he is also Wanker Kim.

Now we learn that Dear Kim is wanting to tear up the status quo on the Korean peninsular. Wisest Leader Kim demonstrates that he is a reactionary not a progressive, wanting to blow the two Koreas back into the Stone Age. The UN met and in its truest 'running dog' form, expressed its sentiments that it is very very concerned.

President Obama is also concerned and told Hillary, "I'm very concerned".

Kim's favourite modern western song is "Rocket Man" and his other greatest sing along is "There is a hole in the ground  Dear Kim Chi, Dear Kim Chi...There a hole in ground Dearest KimChi a hole..."

"Great Singer Davey writed this 'Rocket Man' and I sing along wiss it everytime we have missile launch. Oh happy dazes, Oh happe dazes, when Kim Jong Ill (that me) make rocket fly ..."

Meanwhile as all is well in North Korea, President Obama is said to be looking into the hole.

Mugabe's cake

Thursday 19 March, 2009 - 22:04 by OB1 in Default

President (un)elected Mugabe held a birthday party at which he and his cronies enjoyed a huge cake. What about those suffering with cholera and dying of starvation? Well the poor buggers just kept dying, while the rest of the world turned its blinded eye to this sham.

What nation in the western world has the moral courage to stand up to this thug?

What nation in Africa will intervene to protect the lives of Africans? None!

Regular readers know that sometimes I publish secret reports and letters from Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe. Mugabe is 85 years old on 28 February and here is his latest correspondence; received only today:

Bruddas and sistas, Ah am soo happee to be celbratin' my 85th birfdey. When I took charge of the governmany frum dem white imperialist illegals warmongrin' Colony of Rhodesia; a man had to go to Zimbabwe Ruins to see the old nation; now after soo meny years careful works yu piples only have to cum into Zimbabwe and see I re-created 'the Ruins' for all.  It is a wonderful achivment, which I brang to mine countree ; with help of good frends such as Malcolm, the Libians and the Norf Koreans. Some piples complainin' the water is full of cholera, and other fings; no not true of my countree - the problem is some folk forget to flush the toliets and the refugees is running down the steets makin' problems for the cattle and sheeps. I kep saying on the Tele, 'don't forget to flush the loo', but they don't flush the loos. Which reminds me, I read my speechs in the loo and flushes the chain for an applause.

My army is very happee for my birthday; we is to condem the West and dem British 'cos they is wanting to upset my rule of lore, by axin' me to powa-share with Morgan Tsvanawry. My motto is 'an AK is da lore of the land' and I aint sharin' no powa wif anyone. In fact, we got no ('lectric) powa in all of Zimbabwwwe except me; Comrade Brother No.1 Mugabe. My heroes is Joe Stalin;  Poll Poot, Mao and Lenin and they never powa-shared with no one; so why me? My friend Mao sed to me wonce, 'powa grews out of the barrel of a gun, Robbert; not a beer keg.' I wez so impressed with dem words of wesdom that I never forget.  My odder frend the late great Idi Amin wonce sed, 'kep the fridges full of yur relatives.' Wise words from a good fiend,  we had many things we chewed over, at his place.

Squillions of dollars turned into slops

Thursday 05 February, 2009 - 21:36 by OB1 in Default

views (63) | rating ooooo (0 votes)

There is a sound axiom, which no-one knows - since I coined it, and it is this: "never get between an Australian and a pig trough." Uncle Kev announced a grand handout of $900 + to most taxpayers, plus extra monies for each child. Australia's lemmings rushed to their troughs awaiting the slops and in the stampede anyone who sounded a note of caution was silenced. Bugger the logic of the handout; bugger any rational disussion around the massive splurge, just fill my trough until it overflows.

Will this handout generate long-term benefits to all Australians? Will the handouts generate long-term jobs? Will it have a verifiable multipler effect into the economy, so that the $Billions washes two or three times into all sectors of the economy? Who cares! Just fill my trough and let me wallow in my share and give me more than the next guy Where is the rational debate in the parliament, where is the debate in newspapers and with the public? Oh No! we don't need it, don't ensure it is the better option just tip the money into my trough as soon as possible.

If this is to be the worst depression since the '1929 Crash', then every Australian should be cautious about any government chucking money down the drain. We must all ask probing questions of those elected members who might piss our tax monies against the wall. This huge spend might be the best option; but then it could be futile. How do we know, until there is a debate, a discussion and evidence presented? Wake up Australia!

buckling new rails

Sunday 01 February, 2009 - 10:02 by OB1 in Default

views (59) | rating ***** (1 votes)

Victoria's heat-wave in the last week of January '09 saw a meltdown of the rail transport system. What is to be done? The entire Victorian rail system has been for many years starved of essential funds. Freight trains on many lines are reduced to 20 kph on warm days, once the temperature reaches 36 C. A kid in primary school knows that if you heat metal it expands; yet long lengths of welded track on the metro lines lack adequate expansion joints or enough ballast to ensure the concrete sleepers don't capture and retain heat, which in turn helps buckle the track.

Rail signal systems are inadequate and passing loops in rural areas dismantled, so that the volumes of traffic once handled with ease in the 1950s are no longer possible. Deregulation of the rail network in Victoria was supposed to allow multiple carriers provide a range of services; this has not happened. The only double decker metro train set on the entire network, worth millions of dollars, was removed and destroyed with-in the last two years.

The are all sorts of reports on how to improve the rail system, including Tim Fischer's 'Rail Freight' inquiry. What is needed is action, commitment and dollars. Oh, well ! Victorians will all be dead from heat-stroke (no electricity) or thirst (no dams) before anything happens.

Obama: a rising or setting sun?

Thursday 22 January, 2009 - 23:25 by OB1 in Default

views (91) | rating ***** (1 votes)

What a week of nonsense. Obama is the Second Coming or, is he Elijah or Moses returned to Earth? How amazing that Australia's USA haters; namely, the left-wing media and the trendy left-intellectuals proclaim Obama's presidency as the solution to all the world's ills. Where in the media is the critical analysis of the Democratic Party? Who in the media (other than Bolt) dare suggest that Higher Pope Al Bore's Climate Change is a con. Who in the media, in Australia, dare question the credentials of the new 'Great and Dearly Loved Leader', who like a North Korean demi-god is fawned and parotted as 'Saviour'. In his excited coverage of the events in Washington, one Australian commentator suggested the Clinton Adminsration had tight financial controls on the US economy and Bush dismantled them. Uh? When did this fabrication of history gain credibility? Oh!

Pompey (104-45 BC) is quoted in Pultarch's Lives, with this comment, 'more worship the rising sun than the settiing sun'. The real question to asked of Obama's presidency is this; is he the rising or the setting sun for the USA and the West? Ten bucks says he and the Democratic mob are the latter.
